Welcome

Over 20 million Americans over the age of 12 have some type of substance abuse addiction (other than tobacco).

In Wisconsin, there were 883 opioid related overdose deaths in 2017;   a 7% increase over 2016... a 35% jump from 2015.

The stigma and the face of addiction has changed dramatically over the years.    Today, it's our neighbors and coworkers.  It's our siblings, friends, spouses, parents and children...

Recovery is an opportunity for the amazing people who are dedicated to getting their lives back.  People with severe and chronic substance use disorders can, with effective treatment, overcome their illness and regain control of their lives.  Unfortunately, not everyone is able to afford the high cost of treatment.  The Recovery Foundation is committed to helping these people find their opportunity through recovery.

In 2017, the Recovery Foundation awarded $19,500 in                                treatment scholarships to people in treatment for substance abuse.

As of October 1, 2018,  $42,500 has been spent assisting people                          with their costs for treatment!

It's because of the generosity of our donors and sponsors                                                     that we are able to do what we do!  It's because of YOU,                                  we can give people hope for a brighter tomorrow!
